GUARANTEE AND DISCLOSURE

    Ancestor Research employs well-trained, genealogy professionals, whose time you have purchased with a contract for services and who will give their best effort to supply the information requested. However, Ancestor Research cannot guarantee any specific results nor that the information requested for a Life Event Search of a specific individual can be found in the record(s) searched, a family history problem can be solved during the time allocated in a Research Service project, or the records searched from a research planner provided through the Consulting Service will yield the data sought.

    Ancestor Research conducts genealogical research services in accordance with the highest professional standards as promulgated in the Code of Ethics published by the Association of Professional Genealogists and adheres to the reporting guidelines published by the Board for Certification of Genealogists in the Standards Manual.

    Ancestor Research may change fees for services at any time without notification. Modifying a contract for services to increase services will be billed at the then current price schedule.

    An account balance becomes over due after thirty days from the invoice date and will be billed a finance charge of 1.5 percent per month with a minimum charge of $.50 on the unpaid balance until the account is paid in full. An unpaid balance will after sixty days be submitted to a collection agency and credit reporting services will be advised of the over due status of the account.
